Membership

Membership is open to any person having an interest in genealogy, regardless of place of residence. We also welcome other organizations with objectives similar to the Society's, as well as libraries, schools, etc.

• Voting privileges at Society meetings
• Candidacy for elected office and/or committee appointment
• Subscription to the Society's newsletter, The Genie
• Free queries published in The Genie
• Invitation to submit ideas and articles for publication in The Genie
• Free minimal searches within the Society's Library for out-of-state or handicapped members
• Discount on Books/Publications
• Discount on copier fees

Membership Dues

Annual Individual: $18 per calendar year (January through December). You may join anytime during the year. Your member privileges will begin immediately and we will send you all the current year's back issues of The Genie. If you join late in the year please indicate if your membership is for current year or the next full calendar year.

Life: $200.

Gift Membership: If you are purchasing a Gift Membership for someone, please provide the following information about yourself and the gift recipient: Name/Postal Mailing Address/Email Address/Telephone Number. The recipient will receive a letter acknowledging your generous gift and you will receive a copy of that letter.

Be sure to clearly indicate seasonal addresses!
