The Ulster County Genealogical Society is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. The Society's objectives are to operate a genealogical reference library available to members and the public; encourage and assist members and others in the pursuit of genealogical research; contribute genealogical information to newspapers and periodicals; publish materials of interest to genealogists; and promote the importance of genealogy in the preservation of the family, past, present and future.
The Society is membership-governed and operated entirely by volunteers.
The Society's newsletter, The Genie, is published semi annually.
Donations are welcome and are tax-deductible
to the extent allowed by law.
